挺好的＞不错＞还不错＞还行。All the words mean good. But in my opinion, it will be better to use 挺好的/不错/还不错 to praise somebody.

Formal life we dont usually use this kind of wodrs， when u write an essay u'd better not use those words， however when u talk with ur friend 挺好的is the strongest word to describe u feel good, second is 还不错.third is 不错 ，fourth is 还行。

Actually,there aren't so huge differences between these words,they all means "good".But you'd better pay attention to the speaker's tone(eg.go through the motions like"还…好吧”)
